3D Gait Analysis In Paediatric Neurorehabiliation

MD.

Dr. Eriks-Hoogland is Deputy Chief Physician at the Swiss Paraplegic Center and head of thenoutpatient clinic. She is responsible for the care of children and adolescents with spinal cord injury (SCI) and leads the center’s structured transition program from pediatric to adult care. In addition, she serves as a consultant for children with SCI and spina bifida, with a strong focus on lifelong, interdisciplinary rehabilitation and continuity of care.

Her clinical expertise includes the interpretation of gait in individuals with SCI, the comprehensive management of spasticity, and the coordination of a joint outpatient clinic together with neuro-orthopaedic specialists. Her work integrates advanced clinical assessment with individualized rehabilitation strategies to optimize functional outcomes and participation across the lifespan.
